Heeft er iemand toevallig meer informatie over de Z50J2 Finland modellen? Welke zijn er bijvoorbeeld en hoeveel zijn er van gemaakt?

FYI, de nieuwere finland versie heeft een NT blok met cdi maar de boordspanning is toch 6V. Rariteitje in hondaland.

Die is te redden, even een geel j1 tankje er op zetten, het achterlicht er afslaan dan ziet het er al 10x beter uit

Mja, dat zou wel kunnen. Op een Franse CZ100 moesten ook dingen anders dan op die elders ter wereld Zo zitten op al die modellen van die "platte" koplampen en seatboosters (zadel verhoger) ed. Hangt allemaal wat af van wat het land voorschreef als noodzaak.

Omgebouwd door de Finse importeur om te voldoen aan de voertuigeisen in Finland. Hij kwam dus niet zo uit de Japanse Honda fabriek rollen. Uit onderstaande verhaal maak ik op dat ze als standaard Z50J1 binnenkwamen bij de importeur en die bouwde ze dan om (en verschrotte de ori J1 parts )

In 1976, something extraordinary happened.
Something that is done very rarely.
Namely the forced import of Honda's new z50j model into Finland.

Honda brought its own vision of the 76-79 Finnish moped to the importer for sale, which had already taken into account Finnish weight and power restrictions, so instead of metal fenders, the mopeds had plastic ones made and a choke sleeve had been added to the carburettor at the factory. However, these were not enough for the authorities and much more weight had to be taken off. Otto Brandt Ab was now tasked with building a real light version. The first to go were the front and rear lamps, followed immediately by the footpeg frames. The lighter bulbs were imported from Italy and the footpeg frames were made in Finland from aluminium. However, the footrest frame with its stand was so dubious that it had to be shown to the Hondans in Japan, as they did not believe it could withstand the weight of the driver's legs. The tank also had to be light, so the 2 litre 'small tank' of the previous year was added to these models. The front suspension on all manikins imported to Finland is also lightweight due to the weight restrictions. After these small changes, the pocket Honda was typified as a moped and sales started. The Japanese parts that had been replaced at the importer also had to be discarded, so that they could not be fitted afterwards.
This Honda also has other special features than just the modifications made by the importer, namely the rear shock absorbers are attached at the top end with a long through-bolt and the upper engine mounts are triangular.

The handlebars were still a collapsible design and the wing pins would be pivoting if the heavy Japanese parts could have been used. In a test by Technic World in 1976, the foot pegs actually bent during a small test.

So Finland's first z50j model is not just any model, but a real suomi-mode one, and only for Finns. Such an effort, to get a minihonda on the Finnish market, would certainly not be seen without the knowledge of a sure sale and a strong desire of Finns to buy. This model year forked the Finnish Honda monkeys from the other monkeys of the world into their own little group. Honda made the manki the model of America, Japan, Europe and, most amusing of all, Suomispecial.

Het gewicht moest dan zeker onder de 50 kilo blijven ofzo als ik al die gewicht besparende maatregelen zie.

Ter referentie, normale jdm j2 58kg droog, baja 55kg.
